Meet James Lavinder, a skilled Millwork Sales Professional with a broad range of skills and experiences. Originally from Asheboro, NC, James moved to California in the late nineties to pursue new opportunities. While working as a delivery driver, he met his wife of 25 years and earned his CDL. James saw the potential for growth in the Sacramento area and began framing houses, a decision that proved to be very successful.

After some time, James and his family returned to NC, where he started a successful remodeling business. One day, while picking up materials at a local lumber supply store, his sales rep recognized his potential and offered him a sales position. James has been in and around the Raleigh Durham area for over 20 years, helping to build legacies within the custom home community. His passion for high-end custom homes and remodeling led him to appreciate quality materials and products, and thus, he saw greater potential in serving clients at ITC Millwork.

James is a former Eagle Scout who enjoys traveling the world with his family. They have visited numerous countries, including Denmark, Botswana, and South Africa, and enjoy sharing their love of travel with their three children.

In addition to his love of travel, James is passionate about helping youth train for construction jobs. He spearheads ITC Millwork’s involvement with Central Carolina Community College in the Building Construction and Technology Program. James is driven to positively impact his community and is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals.
