an Mel started out in the building industry as a teenager framing houses. He then advanced to restoring old and antique Victorian moldings and installing for restaurant chains. Shortly after moving to the Charlotte area in 1990 he joined Interior Trim Creations, which later became ITC Millwork, as an Install Supervisor. Mel enjoys assisting his clients with design and drawing specialty items. When not working, Mel can be found camping or hiking with his sons Boy Scout Troop, or at the beach, on the water with his family.
